Since October 7, 2023, when terror struck Israel and war erupted, our mission at Blessing Broker has only grown more urgent. We’ve stepped up to support Israel and the persecuted Church with tangible love—food, shelter, legal aid, and the hope found only in Yeshua. But as our impact has grown, so has the criticism.
Some dismiss our work with a simple three-letter comment: “BDS”—calling for the boycott, divestment, and sanction of Israel. Others take paragraphs to express outrage over our commitment to biblical truth and humanitarian action.
We’re not surprised.
“If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first.” — John 15:18
The words of Jesus still ring true today. So yes—haters gonna hate. But we’re not shaken. We consider it joy to face opposition for doing what’s right. Still, it’s important to lovingly respond to our critics.
Our beliefs are no secret. You can read our full Statement of Faith here. We believe the Bible—from Genesis to Revelation—and we believe God’s promises to Israel still stand.
Here are just a few things we affirm:
- Israel’s discipline was foretold—and so is her redemption (Deut. 28, Isaiah 42, Hosea 13).
- The New Covenant was made with Israel and fulfilled in Yeshua (Jeremiah 31, Hebrews 8).
- Jesus came first to redeem Israel, and through Him, to bring salvation to all nations (Matt. 10:6, Gal. 4:5).
This isn’t political for us. It’s personal. It’s spiritual. We love because He first loved us. And that love compels us to serve—even when it’s unpopular.
What We Will Not Do:
- We won’t argue with hatred.
- We won’t disrespect others or push an agenda.
- We won’t abandon our calling to make people comfortable.
What We Will Do:
- We will love boldly and humbly.
- We will provide real aid to people in crisis.
- We will honor the Great Commission, seeking completion—not conversion—in Christ.
- We will continue to “broker blessings” wherever God sends us.
Disagreement is welcome. Slander is not. Even in the early Church, there were debates—but they always pointed back to unity in the gospel (Acts 15, Galatians 2). As Proverbs reminds us, God despises those who sow discord (Proverbs 6:16–19).
So yes, let’s study together. Let’s dig into Scripture. Let’s challenge each other in truth and grace.
If you’re here to be a part of the blessing—welcome.
If you disagree—you’re still welcome. Just come with honesty, humility, and a heart to seek truth.
We’ll keep walking in faith. Loving boldly. Serving fiercely. And standing with Israel—for such a time as this.
